When It Comes to Wedding Ring (^^)

Saalam...
Erm,wedding ring / cincin kahwin.

Emas putih or emas kuning?

Macam Sarah, ikutkan suka lagi emas putih, tapi memandangkan cincin merisik and tunang Sarah adalah emas kuning, so Sarah nak semua seragam la, lagi cantik kat jari nanti. Tetapi.......... (jeng3, ni jap lagi Sarah sambung)

How bout batu? Some kata diamond, some kata zircon; batu seakan-akan diamond tapi terdapat bermacam-macam warna. Okay, dari segi harga semua mmg tahu diamond adalah mahal; depends on 4 C's; cut, color, clarity, carat. Okay ni Sarah ada info bout kamu yg minat nak beli wedding ring with diamond. Sila baca di bawah ini...

Diamond Grading TerminologyA diamond's cost is based on the characteristics known as the "4 C's". Clarity, Colour and Cut (proportion) are the quality elements which together with the Carat Weight determine the value of a stone. The closer a diamond grades to the left of one or all of these scales the rarer and the more costly it will be. While clarity is frequently assumed to be the most important factor of all the "C's", in fact, colour and cut (especially cut) have a more profound affect on the visual appearance of a diamond.
Carat Weight
Carat is the unit of weight for all gemstones. One carat is subdivided into 100 "points". Therefore a diamond measuring 75 points is 3/4 carat in weight, or 0.75ct. There are five carats in a gram. The word "carat" comes from the seed of the carob tree pod which is found in tropical climates. These seeds were used until this century to weigh precious gems.

Clarity
A diamond's clarity is determined by the number, nature, position, size and colour of internal characteristics called "inclusions" and surface features called "blemishes". These irregularities occured in the liquid magna (volcanic rock) within which the diamond was created. Diamonds are mostly pure carbon, however, during crystallization other minerals nearby, or even other bits of carbon forming more quickly may have become trapped within the cooling mass. These show themselves as the various characteristics which make up the clarity of a diamond (included crystals, feathers, clouds etc). Clarity is measured on a scale ranging from pure (flawless) to heavily included (I-3). The clarity of a diamond is graded by using 10X magnification under good lighting by an experienced grader. The final clarity grade is usually determined by how easy the inclusions and blemishes are for the grader to see.

Colour
Ideally, a diamond should have no colour at all, like a drop of spring water. Increasing degrees of body colour are measured on a scale ranging from no colour at all (D) to deeply coloured (Z). Beyond "Z" is the range where the diamond's colour is vivid and rich, called "fancy colours". Diamonds of known colour are used as comparison stones for colour grading. Grading is done by comparing the diamond to be graded against these "master stones" under either artificial or natural north daylight ( in the Northern Hemisphere). A machine called the "Colorimeter" can be used for colour grading but there is no substitute for the trained human eye.

Cut
Cut, sometimes the forgotten "C", ensures that a given stone has maximum brilliance and sparkle which would not be the case were the stone cut for weight alone.
We use the following scale to grade a stone on it's overall appearance. The proportion page shows angles and percentages for round brilliant cut diamonds; but angles and percentages are for diamond cutters and graders. Simply put, when looking at a diamond, if it doesn't catch your eye or if it doesn't flash in the light, it's probably not well cut. Good cutting is what brings fire to the ice.

Haaa... ni Sarah cut and paste je macam buat assignment zaman kat 'u' dulu.. hehe. Tapi mmg saja cut n paste so that  I didn't miss out anything sbb all those info's mmg penting if uolls mmg nak diamond as your wedding ring. Tapi what-so-ever pun pilihlah ikut kemampuan dan budget masing2. Jgnlah kerana nakkan cincin diamond, sampai gado2 n majok2 plak.

And cincin tunang Sarah macam gini..

Both adalah emas kuning and kedua2nya zircon, so Sarah berhajat untuk memiliki cincin kahwin  yg sebegini...

Eventhough nampak macam sama, tapi tak serupa taw. Tapi macam ni la lebih kurang yg Sarah impikan.. yang batu satu je coz tunang n merisik da byk sgt batu.. But berhajat nak emas kuning gak (konon nak seragam dgn merisik and tunang and bracelet yg en. tunang sudah beli; which i had never seen it yet because en. tunang kata tunggu tgk ari nikah masa nak batal air sembahyang tu..seplise!!!! la konon).

Cincin tunang n merisik Sarah tu cara ikatan batunya adalah berkuku which is sgt2 la senang tersangkut....

..ini adalah contoh cincin batu tanam..

Ok, now Sarah nak sambung Sarah punya TETAPI yg di awal2 tadi.... Tetapinya, apa yg Sarah impikan takde pun kat my real wedding ring which encik tunang just bought. Somehow, I like it! (Don't worry dear, baby tetap suka ring tu...) On 16 Sept, encik tunang, his mother (or soon will be my mother too) and me myself went to Alpha Angle. Niatnya hanya nak tgk2, tapi Habib Jewels tgh promosi. So sambil mencuci mata, mak kenan ngan 1 ring ni, she ask me whether i like it or not, tapi dalam masa yg sama we round the whole Habib n also Poh Kong which is next to Habib. Mak ask me to choose, n off course i will ask mak to choose for me (whatever ring yg mak rasa nak tgk bakal menantunya pakai, I will go with it (><)).

So after encik tunang, mak n me setuju, we decided to choose a white gold ring (yes, I know i said i want yellow one), ada diamond byk2 (i like!), and bukan berbatu satu. What Sarah can say is............. "I like my wedding ring!!!!!!!!!!!". Thanks sayang and mak..

Actually we are facing difficulties to find the most suitable ring (which can fit my finger), sbb jari Sarah kecil, saiz 9.5. Mak mula2 nak tempah for me. But after Sarah decided just go with saiz 10.5; which is smallest size left kat Habib tu, mak pun tak jadilah tempah. Beli je la yg tu, lagi senang. Lagi pun mana taw preggy nanti badan berisi ke kan???

Macam ni la uolls kisahnya cincin Sarah. Kadang2 laen yg kita nak, laen yg kita dapat, dan yg penting kita tetap suka.. Anda2 akan merasa keadaan ini when the time comes.. heeeeee..... Daaaaaaaaaa..........
